Dear Friends of St. Joseph School,

Greetings in Christ, our Lord!

We come to you this year with good news in Catholic education at St. Joseph School. This academic year we have welcomed 361 students in grades K-8th grades and 42 students in our Pre-Kindergarten program. We also received five new teachers in grades 2 and 4, junior high math, and PreK-8 art and computer. The PreK-8 Spanish curriculum has been enhanced with added educational materials. The computer lab has been totally upgraded with new flat screen monitors, upgraded software and hardware. The music textbooks have been replaced and updated with an exciting new curriculum. Tutoring and resource services have been provided for K-8 students with various learning needs during and after school hours. We have also been able to offer tuition assistance for 38 families with over $70,000 in financial aid.

Thanks to your support financially, materially and spiritually, St. Joseph School continues to provide a superior education based on the teachings of the Catholic faith. With your continued help, we can together prepare our young people for a bright future with a foundation built on our mission of seeking Jesus in sacrament, study and service to one another.

Tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating our students. The generosity of our donors provides those extras that assure the quality of every aspect of St. Joseph School life. There are several ways you can contribute to St. Joseph School and achieve your charitable and financial objectives. PLEDGE FORM
Matching Gifts Many corporations will match gifts made by their employees and associates. Your human resources representative can tell you if your company has a matching gift program and can provide you with the necessary form.	Memorials/ Gifts in Honor of Gifts can be made in memory or honor of classmates, parents, friends, teachers, and Dominican Sisters and can be designated for any area of the school including: Tuition Assistance, Music, Athletics, Science and technology.	Endowments An endowment is funds set aside permanently so that only a portion of the earnings is used on an annual basis. An endowed gift is one in which the original principal is never touched, only a small percentage of the earnings are used for annual operating expenses or for the purpose the donor has specified, such as scholarships.	Planned Gifts By carefully planning your gifts, you can give more than you thought possible while creating tax benefits and increasing the income available for your family. Bequests in wills, insurance, and charitable trusts are examples of planned gifts
